ABOUT CAMEO
Cameo Theatre Is the home of the Cameo Players and the newly developed Cameo Crime Club.
The Cameo Players was founded by Lindsay Lloyd, and specialised in interactive theatre events, plays and soirées for over twenty years. The Cameo Players aim to perform diverse, and original theatre in a classical setting - celebrating the theatre of yester-year, and meeting like minded individuals.
In 2024 Emma Filby joined the team and has supported Lindsay in developing the exciting new Cameo Crime Club - which hosts an interactive murder mystery evening perfect for any
dinner-theatre style venue.
Our focus is always on the event aspect of theatre and the arts. We believe that audiences want more than to sit in a dark space and watch a play, and our interactive events from both the Cameo Players and the Cameo Crime Club - do just that!
OUR TEAM
Lindsay Lloyd
Cameo Theatre is Produced and Directed by
Lindsay Lloyd. Lindsay is a professional Broadcaster, Actor and Director. She trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and in 2015 she graduated with an MA in Directing Theatre from East 15 Drama School.
Emma Filby
Emma Filby is the Associate Producer for the Cameo Crime Club. Emma trained at the Bristol Old Vic Drama School, and in 2017 she graduated with an MA in Classical Theatre from the Shakespeare Institute, with The University of Birmingham.
